The Red Box Car is a Quick Service Restaurant that is in an actual Railroad Box Car from the early 1900's. We are located in the beautiful town of Red Lodge, Montana. The restaurant has been serving burgers & ice cream since 1972!! We are located next to scenic Rock Creek and there is primarily outside dining. We are a popular dining spot as the location is great, the food is wonderful and our staff is personable. We are one of the few quick service places in Red Lodge and our prices are quite good for the area. We may be quick service, but everything is made to order and our food is fresh and quite a few things are homemade.
Red Lodge is a friendly mountain town that has access to great hiking, fishing and camping during the summer months. It has lots to offer to young students in the above catagories. If you love the outdoors you will love Red Lodge!
During the summer months we are very busy so time in the restaurant goes quickly. The current staff is very knowlegable and helpful. They are young adults in their 20's & 30's. We like to make the job fun & we are pretty easy to work with. Lori Davis & Tyler Davis are the owners and are very much hands on owners. We are there to work every day with you! We look forward to having you join our team!
