“From the moment we set foot in Thailand, we ran into problems with our credit card and were stuck in Suvarnabhumi Airport! We called OEG and they literally dropped everything to come and collect us. If we had any doubts about whether we had chosen the correct organization to teach in Thailand or not, they were wiped away in an instant. We always tell people that OEG was there to support us from day 1, and continue to do so up until today as OEG alumnus.
Our 1 year program with OEG really gave us a strong foundation to gain valuable teaching experience, as well as navigating all the challenges of living in Thailand. Once we completed the OEG program, we were able to use that experience to apply to other schools in Thailand, and are currently teaching in our 2nd year at a private girls school.”

It was so much fun getting to know our students on the school field trip to Doi Inthanon! Speaking English beyond the classroom goes a long way with them. It’s so rewarding to see you students excited to learn from you and trying to better their English!
Talking to students outside of school is a cool experience because you can learn so much about them and what they like to do! The Thai teaching community is filled with such supportive and welcoming people!
Every day is a journey in Thailand and it just gets better and better. I’ve learned so much about perseverance since I started teaching. It’s a good challenge for anyone!
