“My experience in Thailand was absolutely incredible. It completely transformed my life and the way that I see both myself and the world. Living and working in a culture so different from my own and building relationships with people who have had extremely different life experiences than me was arguably the greatest education I have ever received. In fact, one of my favorite parts of living in Thailand was that I learned something new every single day. Whether it was a new word in the Thai language, a fact about the history of Thailand, a lesson that taught me how to be a better educator, or something personal about myself, there was always something new for me to learn. We always tell people that OEG was there to support us from day 1, and continue to do so up until today as OEG alumnus.
Our 1 year program with OEG really gave us a strong foundation to gain valuable teaching experience, as well as navigating all the challenges of living in Thailand.
